Tubos Forjados, S.A., the precursor to today’s Tubos Reunidos, S.A. was founded with an annual production capacity of 3,000 tonnes of welded tubes, for the manufacture of tubes for boilers, steam pipelines, pipes for water and gas and other similar uses.

Tubos Reunidos, S.A. was set up through the grouping together of all the Tubos Forjados, S.A. facilities and part of the Babcock & Wilcox Española, S.A. facilities for the manufacture of seamless tubes and welded tubes.
1977
First casting at the Amurrio steel works.
1984
A new heating and perforation (C.P.E.) system is implemented for the first time in Amurrio at the front of the push bench, which is a major technological breakthrough. New tube finishing facilities for the oil industry (OCTG).
1998
Acquisition of Productos Tubulares, S.A., which brought a wide range of tubes of large dimensions and thicknesses; special alloy and stainless steel tubes.
2005
Tubos Reunidos strengthens its presence on the Stock Market when its shares are listed on the continuous market.
2011
The TUBOS REUNIDOS GROUP approves the Strategic Plan 2011-2016. The main objectives and work lines move towards the increasing specialisation of the product range, increasing globalisation of sales, greater exposure to energy-related markets and maintaining the competitive position through cost savings.
2012
TUBOS REUNIDOS embarks on a € 150 M Investment plant to develop new high added-value products and improve Its competitiveness.
2014
2014-2017 Strategic Plan and signature of the agreement with Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc. for construction of a plant devoted to manufacturing, sale and supply of premium OTCG products for all and gas drilling worldwide. Tubos reunidos premium threads.

Construction of new Tubos Reunidos Premium Thread plant in Nanclares de Oca (Álava).
2016
Production start-up of the new plant with Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc.Acquisition of the assets of Rotary Drilling Tools. Inc. TUBOS REUNIDOS diversifies its production facilities by obtaining local capacity in the United States close to the en user.
